WELCOME TO GREEN LAKE
Nestled just a short commute north of Downtown Seattle. This highly popular neighborhood is encircled by Seattle’s other sought-after environs including Phinney Ridge, Wallingford & Fremont.
The main attraction is Green Lake itself. Named for the algae blooms that frequent the waters and turn it a shade of emerald.
A 2.8-mile walking path follows the perimeter of the lake and is known for the abundance of walkers, joggers, and cyclists.
A very large public park surrounds Green Lake, complete with tennis courts, playgrounds & sports fields.
Residents often compare living in the Green Lake neighborhood with living in a nature preserve. Here, residents are within walking distance of the lake. Although there are newer homes, Green Lake is defined by craftsmen and bungalows dating back more than a century.
Green Lake’s town center has everything you need within a few blocks: groceries, fitness, retail, restaurants & coffee; it’s all here. Small businesses are a large part of what makes the neighborhood so quaint.
