I moved before the house was sold so the team supervised the work and kept track of vacant lot and house when it was listed. Within two weeks there was an offer on he house. I am sure this was not one of the easiest closings they have made. The buyer initiated several changes to be made to the paper work, which took time and a lot of work. Through it all I was kept informed—Yoko was great at getting all of the paperwork to me in a very timely manner.

I always felt like we were in good hands, and knew I trusted her after our first meeting. Rather than just jumping right into house-touring, Amie took the time to meet me for coffee; in that meeting we got to know a bit about each other, we went through what my husband and I were looking for in our home, and we went through (step by step!) what a contract looks like. Since I was new to Washington, and a first-time homebuyer, this was amazingly helpful – I knew what to expect, so once we got there, I wasn’t ‘caught off guard.
The Seattle market is definitely a tricky one to navigate, so having a good team to support you is indispensable. Seattle is an extremely competitive market, so when we found our house on a late Sunday afternoon we firmly believed we had missed our chance. Rather than letting the opportunity slip by, Amie followed up with the seller’s Realtor® and learned that we could still make a competitive offer.
And I really have to give mad kudos to Amie and Chantel for this— we wavered for an hour or two before deciding to submit an offer. That meant they had less than an hour to assemble and submit the offer before the seller was supposed to review it. But they did it, and Amie was an incredible advocate for us. About 3 hours after making the *decision* to submit an offer … we got the house. Buying a home has been a whirlwind for us. From start to finish, it’s happened much faster than we had expected or planned for. Just two weeks before we found the house, we met Kelley for the very first time to have an educational meeting about the home buying process. Kelley and Amie did their best to make sure that we understood the ins and outs of what we were about to experience. Without that process in place, we would not have been comfortable moving forward so quickly.
Even so, being first-time home buyers, we had a ton of questions, concerns, doubts that didn’t stop once we were under contract. But at no point did Amie or Kelley show any kind of impatience, even though we knew at times we were asking repeat questions. We have continued to get their full support during the closing period and a few hiccups related to inspection. Even now that the house is ours, they’ve sent follow-up emails to check how we’re doing."

We were not able to make a trip out to Seattle when she found us a house that met all of our specifications, so Amie arranged for us to “tour” the house via skype with an inspector. We were comfortable enough with the “tour” that we made an offer.
